Dunn secures two runners as five Kosciuszko slots are filled

Band Of Brothers and Considered give Matthew Dunn a double representation among the confirmed runners, with nine places still available for the country feature.

Five horses have secured places in the $2 million The Kosciuszko, with Graceful Ellen, Love Shuck, Band Of Brothers, Considered and So You Pence selected for the October 17 feature at Randwick.

The confirmations fill five of the race’s 14 slots. The country-trained sprinters will compete over 1200 metres, with nine places remaining.

Matthew Dunn has two runners among the five selections confirmed by Racing NSW. Jessica Tillett, a slot winner from Murwillumbah, selected Band Of Brothers, while Minto-based Peter Yammine secured Considered.

Graceful Ellen will represent the Bombala slot held by Peter Joseph. The mare is trained by the partnership of Barbara Joseph, Paul Jones and Matt Jones.

Gundagai slot winner Martin Hay has selected the Todd Smart-trained Love Shuck, while Matthew Dale will prepare So You Pence for Inverell’s Tattersalls Hotel.

Dunn is the only trainer with multiple runners at this stage, with two of the five places.
