Bayley Kendrick joins father Stuart in Sunshine Coast training partnership
Bayley’s appointment follows three years as foreman. The pair are due to have their first runners under the partnership at Doomben on Wednesday.
Kendrick Racing has named Bayley Kendrick a training partner alongside his father Stuart, after eight years with the Sunshine Coast stable, including three as foreman.
The appointment gives Bayley a formal role in the training team, while Stuart remains the trainer named in the stable’s announcement.
Stuart and Bayley said Bayley was already familiar to owners and supporters through his work at the stables and his presence on race days.
“That connection and continuity made this an easy and exciting step for Kendrick Racing,” they said.
Stuart has won the Sunshine Coast trainers’ premiership for 13 consecutive seasons, from 2013/14 through to 2025/26. Before relocating to the Sunshine Coast, he won five successive Mackay trainers’ premierships.
