Western Australia racing, improved picture quality and greater collaboration between Racing Victoria and the Seven Network are key aspects of a new deal which will see Racing.com continue to be broadcast on free-to-air television for another five years.

The deal, brokered between Racing Victoria, which took Racing.com’s operation back under its stewardship earlier this year, and the Seven Network, secures the future of Victorian and South Australian racing on free-to-air through Channel 78 (metropolitan) and Channel 68 (regional) with plans to expand the coverage to include Western Australia.
It also promises to include greater international coverage as well as a presence for Racing.com on the 7plus streaming platform.
Racing.com began broadcasting through the Seven Network’s channels in 2015, with the current hosting agreement due to expire later this year.
Racing Victoria has previously identified the strategic value of a permanent presence on free-to-air television, with CEO Aaron Morrison saying in the most recent annual report that it contributed substantially to both engagement with Victorian racing nationally and overall wagering turnover.
