Five talented fillies and mares added to Magic Millions National Sale
The 2026 Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale catalogue has been bolstered by the addition of five supplementary stakes-winning mares.

Five further stakes winners have been added to the Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale catalogue, increasing the number of black‑type performers offered to 111.
The additions include two recently retired juveniles and three established mares.
Among the new entries is two‑year‑old stakes winner Bellazaine, the Listed Lonhro Plate winner trained by Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott. The Zousain filly is being offered straight off the track following a campaign that saw her compete consistently against leading juveniles.
“She was very forward physically from an early stage,” Bott said. “That maturity allowed her to cope with racing pressure and train on through the autumn against good opposition.”
Bott said Bellazaine’s Randwick performance highlighted her competitiveness. “She was able to take up a forward position and keep responding when challenged. That sort of toughness isn’t common in young fillies.”
Another juvenile joining the catalogue is Russian Alliance, a Group 3 winner trained by Kevin Kemp. The daughter of Russian Revolution won five races at two, including the Ken Russell Memorial Classic at the Gold Coast, and is a half‑sister to New Zealand Oaks placegetter Single Red.
“She was quick to educate and held her form,” Kemp said. “She handled travel and racing frequency well, which is often a good indicator of constitution.”
The broodmare section is reinforced by three stakes winners, led by Group 2 winner Quantum Mechanic, a Deep Field mare who was also placed at Group 1 level.
“We raced her into her five‑year‑old season because she held her form and stayed sound,” said Mill Park Stud’s Chris Watson. “She competed against high‑quality fields and was rarely far away.”
Also added are Listed winner Merriest, already the dam of a Group 2 performer, and US stakes winner Hot Little Thing, both of whom are in foal.
Quantum Mechanic is in foal to young Vinery Stud sire Ole Kirk, Hot Little Thing is in foal to Home Affairs and Merriest is in foal to Super Seth.
