Flying Artie gets fee bump off international success
The successes of Asfoora and My Wish will see Flying Artie stand at a slightly increased fee of $14,850 (inc GST) at Blue Gum Farm in 2026.

Blue Gum Farm has announced Flying Artie will stand at a slightly increased fee of $14,850 (inc GST) in 2026.
The rise from $11,000 in 2025, reflects a strong season for the son of Artie Schiller, led by the outstanding mare Asfoora, who won the Nunthorpe Stakes and Prix de l’Abbaye on her way to being crowned Champion European Sprinter.
He was further represented at the elite level by My Wish, whose won the recent Group 1 Champions Mile, while he also had Group 2 winners in Sixties and In Flight,
“Flying Artie has proven himself time and again as a sire of genuine top-level performers,” said Blue Gum Farm Co-owner & Principal, Sean Dingwall.
“His ability to produce horses that can compete and win at the highest level, both here and abroad, is a huge asset for breeders. He’s a stallion that continues to deliver, and we feel this fee still represents excellent value given his results.”
Also on the roster is Oxley Road, the Exceed And Excel sprinter who will stand at a reduced $5500 as his first crop heads towards the sales ring. A full brother to Group 1‑producing sire Exceedance, Oxley Road was trained by Peter Moody, who described him as “as fast a colt as I’ve trained.”
“Oxley Road has been very well supported since retiring to stud, and we’ve been thrilled with the quality and consistency of his stock,” Dingwall said. “He offers breeders access to elite speed and a proven sireline at a very accessible price point,”
Blue Gum sadly lost young stallion Sejardan in November last year.
