South Australian Derby placegetter Lavalier will head to Western Australia to be trained by Neville Parnham after being sold by Godolphin for $380,000 on Inglis Digital.

The rising four-year-old by Microphone was the headline lot of 25 horses sold by Godolphin as it rationalises its Australian business with its private trainer James Cummings to depart at the end of the current season.
Lavalier, who also ran fourth in the Queensland Derby, was purchased by Santo Guagliardo’s Ridgeport Holdings racing operation.
Guagliardo, who also has horses in training with Will Clarken and Lloyd Kennewell, will bring the gelding to his home state to be prepared by his long-time Perth trainer Parnham who also has Group 1 winner Bustler for the trucking magnate.
The Godolphin draft of racehorses, which also included Group 3 winner Pisces selling for $330,000, yielded $2,150,250.

Group 3-winning sprinter Spacewalk, a last-start fourth placegetter in the Group 2 Moreton Cup in Brisbane, sold for $180,000 to Australian Bloodstock while the Jamie Lovett and Luke Murrell-led syndicator also paid $170,000 for Pereille, a rising six-year-old gelding who ran second in the Listed Santa Ana Lane at Flemington on July 5.
Spacewalk is also likely to head west, with Australian Bloodstock to place the gelding in the care of leading Perth trainers Grant and Alana Williams.
Rival syndicator Darby Racing, which bought Godolphin’s last-start Rosehill placegetter Snack Bar for $155,000, also purchased the Newgate-China Horse Club-raced Group 1-placed rising four-year-old Mayfair later in the session.
Trained by Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott, Fastnet Rock gelding Mayfair has won once from nine starts and was spelled after his second placing in the Darby McCarthy at Doomben in May.
An unnamed two-year-old gelding by Wootton Bassett, initially a $160,000 New Zealand Bloodstock Karaka Yearling Sale graduate who was bought by Blueblood Thoroughbreds and later resold to Lucky Dip Investments for $280,000 at the NZB Ready to Run Sale, was purchased for $350,000 on Wednesday.
He was bought by Jaeger & Co Bloodstock.
