Golden Slipper runners cleared by vets
All runners engaged in the $5 million TAB Golden Slipper have been cleared to take their place after undergoing further veterinary inspections on Friday.
Racing NSW confirmed that every horse entered for the Group 1 feature, to be run at Rosehill on Saturday, was examined by Racing NSW veterinarians and deemed suitable to start.
The Golden Slipper will feature 16 runners, with 11 colts and five fillies as well as four emergencies.
The Annabel and Rob Archibald-trained Chayan is currently the $6.50 favourite ahead of Blue Diamond winner Streisand.
