Hong Kong International Sale date announced

The Hong Kong Jockey Club has confirmed that the 2026 Hong Kong International Sale will take place on July 3 at the Parade Ring, Sha Tin Racecourse.

The sale, run annually since 1995, allows Permit Holders to purchase International Sales Griffins (ISGs) sourced from around the globe.

A Breeze Up preview for the 2026 Sale is scheduled for June 20 at Sha Tin, giving buyers a chance to inspect potential purchases ahead of the auction.

The 2021 International Sale unearthed the revered graduate Romantic Warrior, who claimed his 13th Group 1 victory in the Hong Kong Gold Cup on Sunday.

Other notable alumni include elite performers such as Good Ba Ba, Pakistan Star, and The Duke, alongside Romantic Warrior, whose 22 wins from 29 starts have earned a record $HK254.66 ($A46 million) million in prize money.
