In-form Jimmysstar heads Group 1 CF Orr Stakes field

A seven-horse field has accepted for the Group 1 CF Orr Stakes at Caulfield, with Jimmysstar and Angel Capital heading the market.

Jimmysstar has opened as the $2 favourite after finishing third in the $20 million Everest and scoring a dominant win in the $3 million Russell Balding Stakes.

He has drawn barrier three on Saturday.

Angel Capital, luckless in the Group 1 Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes over the same course and distance two starts ago, is a $3 chance from barrier five.

Evaporate, third behind Autumn Glow last start in the $10 million Golden Eagle, is the only other runner in single figures at $5 and has drawn barrier six.

The remainder of the field comprises three-year-old Vinrock ($16), Bosustow ($20), Pinstriped ($27) and Mighty Ulysses ($91).
