Lovatsville’s stallion line-up confirmed for 2026
Victorian stud Lovatsville has announced a six-stallion roster for 2026, headed by new addition Espionage and supported by fee reductions across much of the roster.
A multiple Group-winning juvenile by Zoustar, Espionage will stand his first season at stud at a fee of $11,000 incl. GST. The colt was prepared during his racing career by trainers Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott, with Coolmore retaining an interest in the horse.
Move To Strike will remain at $16,500 following his first season at stud, where he finished among the busiest first-season sires of 2025.
Gold Trip and Generation will both stand at reduced fees in 2026. Gold Trip has been reduced from $8,800 to $5,500, while Generation will stand at $6,600, down from $11,000.
Lovatsville’s Sam White said the farm was pleased to secure Espionage for Victoria.
“He is a great coup for our farm and for Victoria, and Coolmore’s continued backing underlines his credentials in this market,” White said.
“He’s a beautifully coloured stallion with a fabulous Zoustar-styled head, a brilliant loose mover with a plunging girth and a great shoulder. He has scope, short cannons, great length to his hocks, and an outstanding demeanour.”
Royal Meeting and Fierce Impact will both stand at $8,800 this year. Royal Meeting’s fee has been reduced from $22,000, while Fierce Impact has been reduced from $13,750.
“We have a few interesting deals and initiatives in place this season. One of them is an additional 25 per cent discount on Generation’s fee for any Written Tycoon-line mares that visit him,” White said.
“It’s an exceptional cross, and one we’d like to exploit.”
White said the farm had adopted a market-focused approach to the 2026 season.
“We’ve taken the view this year that we meet the market. It’s a competitive game, and the industry is healthy, but when conditions are challenging, we need to be sure we’re on the journey with everyone in it,” he said.
