Breeze-ups for New Zealand Bloodstock’s Ready to Run Sale have been postponed because of an unfavourable weather forecast next week.
With heavy rain and strong winds predicted, the auction house will transfer the breeze-ups to Monday, October 20 and Tuesday, October 21.
Both sessions will start at 10am (NZDT).

NZB says it is committed to staging the breeze-ups on a turf surface at Te Rapa in response to an overwhelming preference from buyers and agents.
“In association with Waikato Thoroughbred Racing, we’ve been monitoring the weather forecast closely,” NZB’s director of operations James Jennings said.
“Ideally, we want two consistent days for breeze-ups, and it has become apparent that will not be the case next week with the adverse weather that is being predicted.”
