RAM Racing reunites with Overpass in Newgate/GPI Racing slot

Western Australia’s RAM Racing has linked with Newgate and GPI Racing in their 2025 Everest slot in a reunion with Group 1-winning sprinter Overpass.

“We are delighted to join forces with RAM Racing this year with our Newgate/GPI Racing slot,” Newgate managing director Henry Field said.

“The RAM Racing team bring so much energy and enthusiasm to the sport in Western Australia, which will no doubt be felt at the Everest.” 

RAM Racing has backed Overpass as a slotholder in in all editions of the $5 million Quokka in Perth, with the Bjorn Baker-trained sprinter winning in 2023 and 2024.

“There’s strong history there, and we’re thrilled to get the band back together and keep it going, RAM Racing chief executive Adam Fletcher said.

“To stand side by side with significant industry players like Newgate and GPI Racing is an honour.”
