Melbourne Cup winner Twilight Payment and popular Group 1 racehorses Hartnell and Santa Ana Lane will be among the thoroughbred stars competing in the inaugural Off The Track Carnival.

Hosted by Boneo Park in partnership with Racing Victoria, more than 380 retired racehorses will descend on the Mornington Peninsula property on Saturday and Sunday.

It will be the richest equestrian event staged in Victoria.

In addition to the $235,000 prize money on offer, the event provides a perfect platform to showcase the versatility, athleticism, and trainability of the thoroughbred.

There will be 17 championship classes across four disciplines - dressage, combined training, show horse and showjumping - in celebration of life after racing.

Another household name in attendance will be superstar jockey Jamie Melham, who is set to compete in Sunday’s celebrity showjumping challenge in which jockeys, trainers and equestrian teams do battle for bragging rights.
