Outside gate for Autumn Glow in Epsom Handicap

Unbeaten Autumn Glow has drawn the outside barrier in the $1.5 million Epsom Handicap as she chases her first Group 1 win.

A field of 14 has accepted for the prestigious mile race at Randwick, with Autumn Glow one of two runners for trainer Chris Waller.

Autumn Glow is an odds-on favourite to make it seven wins from as many starts and confirm her status as one of the most exciting horses among a stable of Waller stars.

Waller is chasing his sixth Epsom win as he starts to close in on 200 Group 1 victories.

Ceolwulf is topweight with 58kg as he bids for back-to-back wins in the race and the Joe Pride-trained five-year-old is a $9 chance.

Waller has six of the 20 acceptors for the Group 1 Metropolitan, including the joint favourites Birdman and Soul Of Spain.

Ciaron Maher has five Metropolitan runners with Royal Supremacy ($10) rated his best chance.
