Ritchie buys breeding right in champion Anamoe

Prominent Sydney owner and breeder, Bangaloe Stud’s Julia Ritchie, has bought a breeding right in Godolphin’s champion racehorse and young sire Anamoe.

Ritchie, who is also a shareholder in the now Gooree Park Stud-based stallion Yes Yes Yes, paid $450,000 for the breeding right in Anamoe during Wednesday’s Inglis Digital April (Late) Online Sale.

It’s the same price Queensland breeder Laird Morgan paid for a breeding right in the nine-time Group 1 winner by Street Boss in an Inglis Digital sale in February.

Anamoe’s first crop yearlings sold up to $1.1 million at the Magic Millions in January and $900,000 at the Inglis Easter sale last month.

Russian Revolution three-year-old Aligned, a winner of three of his 14 starts who has finished fourth at Warwick Farm and Hawkesbury at his past two starts, also sold at Wednesday’s Digital sale, bringing $85,000 to the bid of Archie Bloodstock.

All On Red, a two-year-old colt by Doubtland, also sold for the same amount to Ahead All Bloodstock. Trained by Tiarnna Noske, All On Red won his first two starts last October at Ascot. He has raced just one this calendar year, finishing back in the field in the Listed Supremacy Stakes.
