Shares in Fireball Miss, Cornerstone draft headline Inglis Digital sale

The dispersal of Cornerstone Stud’s commercial breeding portfolio and shares in Queensland Oaks winner Fireball Miss headline the 412-lot Inglis Digital August (Early) Online Sale, which is now open for bidding.

Cornerstone Stud will offer 34 unreserved lots, including broodmares, yearlings, weanlings and two-year-olds, with the exception of stallion shares in Nicconi, Fierce Impact and Rebel Dane.

Also catalogued is unraced three-year-old Ballet’s Legacy, a three-quarter sister to Group 1 winner and leading first-season sire Home Affairs and a half-sister to Group 1 winner Russian Revolution.

Five 5 per cent shares in Ciaron Maher-trained Group 1 Queensland Oaks winner Fireball Miss will also be offered, with the mare set to target the Empire Rose Stakes this spring.

The sale catalogue comprises 412 entries, including 144 racehorses, 136 racehorse shares, 87 broodmares, 24 yearlings, 11 unraced horses, five stallion shares, four two-year-olds and one breeding right.

Other featured entries include mares in foal to Ole Kirk, Chaldean, Celestial Legend, Lucky Vega and Switzerland, along with racehorses, breeding prospects and stallion shares.

Bennett Racing is the sale’s largest vendor with 74 entries, while Waterhouse/Bott, Archibald Racing, Ciaron Maher, Vinery, Widden, Kia Ora, Blueblood Thoroughbreds, Michael Freedman, Fernrigg, Yulong and Langdale Park are also represented.
