Sportsbet’s CIO Noonan exits wagering industry
Sportsbet’s long-serving Chief Information Officer and Technology Director Simon Noonan is leaving the company and the wagering industry to join MYOB.
Noonan has been with Sportsbet since 2014, leading a team of up to 400 people during a time when product and technology innovation drove the company to become Australia’s wagering market leader.
Prior to his time as a Sportsbet executive, Noonan was in a Head Of Technology role at ANZ. He will assume his new role with MYOB in June.
Noonan said the “vision and opportunity to scale” at MYOB attracted him to the role.
“I am excited to accelerate our pace of innovation in service of our customers and partners in Australia and New Zealand,” he said.
“With a robust technological foundation servicing key business workflows, MYOB is well positioned to contribute to the ongoing digitisation for small and medium businesses.”
