Twin Hills keeps status quo for three-stallion roster
Cootamundra-based Twin Hills Stud has confirmed its 2026 service fees, with all three stallions on Olly and Amber Tait’s roster staying at their 2025 mark.
Leading the roster is Group I MRC Blue Diamond Stakes winner Daumier, who will stand at $16,500 (all fees inc GST) after a solid first-crop yearling sale season.
His debut yearlings have been well received in the marketplace, highlighted by three averaging $95,000 at Magic Millions and a further five averaging $71,000 at Inglis Classic.
The standout result came at Inglis Classic where Twin Hills secured $200,000 for a colt out of Rochelle, reinforcing early confidence in the stallion’s commercial profile.
Veteran sire Smart Missile remains at $13,200, continuing to offer breeders a proven, lower-risk option with the capacity to produce elite-level performers.
He is enjoying continued success on the racetrack through $4.5 million earner Briasa, winner of last year’s Group I ATC TJ Smith Stakes and an Everest contender, while talented mare Aviatress is set to chase Group 1 glory in the $1 million SAJC Robert Sangster Stakes.
Rounding out the roster is Peltzer, who will again stand at $11,000 as his profile continues to build with his earliest runners now three-year-olds.
By So You Think, Peltzer has sired 14 winners to date, led by stakes performers Buccleuch and Thanks Gorgeous, the latter engaged in Saturday’s $250,000 Group II SAJC Tobin Bronze Stakes.
A fast, sprinting-bred son of So You Think, Peltzer is one of only two sons of the dual Cox Plate winner standing in New South Wales, with the late champion having sired 12 Group 1 winners prior to his death last year.
