Dean Yendall has ridden his sixth Mildura Cup winner to end a run of outs for the leading Victorian country jockey.

Yendall brought Harmonious Senora with a well-timed run in a welcome return to form at a racetrack that has been a happy hunting ground for the veteran rider.

First-up for new trainer Kylie Vella, Harmonious Senora ($11) sat worse than midfield before defeating Hard To Cross ($5.50) by 1-1/4 lengths.

“To be honest, I’ve been second-guessing myself lately… nothing’s been falling into place,” Yendall told Racing.com.

“I haven’t really been doing anything wrong but I just haven’t been riding the winners.”
