Racing superpower Yulong has lodged 145 nominations in its bid for back-to-back wins in the Blue Diamond Stakes.
When the deadline closed for the $2 million race, the Melbourne Racing Club confirmed it received 1456 entries.

Lindsay Park, under Ben, JD and Will Hayes, has nominated 85 horses as it chases a record-extending Blue Diamond title for the yard, having most recently won with Little Brose in 2023.
Topping the list of nominated stallions are champion sires I Am Invincible, with 77 of his progeny entered and Snitzel with 63.
Ole Kirk, the 2024/25 champion first-season sire, has 30 nominations.
Among the first-season sires represented, Home Affairs is a standout with 62 entries.
The 2026 Blue Diamond will be run at Caulfield on February 21.
