Anamoe breeding right highlights Inglis Digital sale
A breeding right in Darley sire Anamoe is among the standout offerings in one of the strongest Inglis Digital catalogues ever assembled.
The February (Late) Sale is now open for bidding and features 523 lots, including 254 racehorses (130 race fillies), 117 broodmares, 108 racehorse shares, 37 yearlings, two weanlings, two breeding rights, two unraced stock, and a two-year-old.
Nine-time Group 1 winner Anamoe saw his first yearlings average $469,032 in Book 1 on the Gold Coast last month, the highest ever average for a first-season stallion at that sale.
Anamoe also joined a rare club for a first-season sire by producing a seven-figure yearling among his first sale offerings.
“This is one of the most appealing offerings that we have ever brought to market on Inglis Digital,” Inglis Digital business manager Nick Melmeth said.
“Anamoe is a young stallion that has the bloodstock market in Australia in raptures, and given how few breeding rights were issued at the time of his retirement, this is a fantastic opportunity to secure access to a stallion with all the attributes to be a champion sire.”
Other highlights include three-year-old colts North England (Farnan) and Blitzburg (Snitzel), and four-time winner and stakes-placed Manolo Bling (Grunt).
North England, a winner of the $1m Golden Gift and Group 3 Kindergarten Stakes at two, most recently contested the $3m Sunlight Plate on the Gold Coast in January, while Blitzburg won last year’s Group 3 Canonbury Stakes and Manolo Bling hails from the family of Group 1 winners Sweet Idea and Showtime.
