Overshadow sells for $47,500 as Magic Millions Digital clearance tops 75 per cent
Tuff Tu Mus attracted 41 bids before heading to Dean Williams Racing, while two broodmares also found buyers in the September online auction.
Four-year-old mare Overshadow sold to Harding Stable for $47,500 as bidding closed at the Magic Millions September 25–30 Digital Sale.
Overshadow (Lot 19) attracted bids from four Australian states. She recorded a win from seven starts and a placing at a Sydney midweek meeting.
“We’ve had a lot of luck buying tried horses online and bringing them up to the beach here in Newcastle,” purchaser James Harding said.
Lindsay Park Racing’s Tuff Tu Mus (Lot 5) attracted 41 bids before Pakenham-based Dean Williams Racing secured the six-year-old gelding for $32,500. A multiple city winner, he has seven wins from 16 starts and ran in the $2 million Magic Millions Cup earlier this year.
Magic Millions reported a clearance rate above 75 per cent across all categories.
