Thoroughbred network Racing.com will continue to be broadcast on Foxtel after Racing Victoria reached a new multi-year agreement with the pay television provider.
And for the first time Racing.com, which is also broadcast on free-to-air channels 68 and 78, will be available on streaming service Kayo Sports and the Foxtel Business subscription packages.
The agreement comes as the RV-owned Racing.com this week began broadcasting thoroughbred racing from Western Australia on an ongoing basis alongside its Victorian, South Australian and Hong Kong coverage.
“The breadth of coverage of Victorian racing and that of our local and global partners will be expanded further thanks to the extension of our agreement with the Foxtel Group to showcase Racing.com,” RV chief executive Aaron Morrison said.
“We are particularly excited to remain the only racing channel on Kayo Sports which is a must have for any sporting fan and to expand the broadcast of Racing.com into Foxtel’s commercial network.
“With Australians consuming sport across a range of platforms, particularly our younger demographic, it is vital that we provide a variety of opportunities for the community to watch and engage with Victorian racing and that of our valued partners.”
In May, Foxtel also renewed a long-term deal to continue broadcasting Sky Racing on the pay TV platform.
