Supplementary entries added to Inglis and NZB weanling sales
Eight supplementary entries, including progeny of and siblings to Group 1 performers, have been added to next week’s Great Southern Weanling Sale at Oaklands in Melbourne.
The additions include a Tassort half-brother to Group 1-placed Military Expert, a Royal Meeting colt out of Group 1 winner Risque and a Toronado filly that is a sister to stakes-placed Modown.
The supplementary entries, offered by five vendors, take the catalogue to 438 lots for the June 11 and 12 sale.
Inspections begin at Oaklands on June 8, with selling to start at 1pm on June 11 and continue from 10am on June 12.
The catalogue features weanlings by 105 stallions, including Anamoe, Home Affairs, Ole Kirk, Savabeel, Too Darn Hot and Wootton Bassett.
Meanwhile, the New Zealand Bloodstock National Weanling Sale has an additional three foals added to its June 25 sale.
Headlining the three supplementary entries is a Paddington half-brother to Group 1 Randwick Guineas winner Lion’s Roar.
A colt by exciting young sire Sword of State from Stella’s Honour and a son of Ace High out of black-type producer Light Express have also been supplemented for the NZB sale.
All three supplementary lots are on account of Morrinsville-based vendor Seaton Park, with the farm now offering a total of nine across the session.
