Aquis’ four-strong roster for 2026 will be headed by Prost and Kobayashi, who will both stand at $9900.

Both stallions have had price reductions for this year, coming back from $13,200 is what Aquis says reflects current market conditions, with a focus on commercial opportunity and affordability.

Prost, by Snitzel, enters his second season at stud while Kobayashi, a son of I Am invincible, is the most proven stallion on the Aquis roster, having stood at the farm for eight years.

He has 78 winners from 118 runners, including a trio of stakes winners.

The other two residents on the farm’s Conungra property are Officiating and Stronger who will stand for $8800 apiece,

Stronger, the Group 1-winning son of Not A Single Doubt, will have his first crop of 96 set to hit the track in the new racing season.

Officiating, a son of Blame, is set for his third season with Aquis, having covered more than 100 mares in his first two years.

Jonker, meanwhile, has left Aquis to join the roster at Eureka Stud, while Lean Mean Machine and Glenfiddich have also departed.

Aquis director of sales Jonathan Davies said the 2026 roster had been priced with opportunity in mind.

“We understand the challenges breeders are facing and have structured our 2026 roster to offer genuine value and realistic opportunities,” he said.

“Each stallion on our roster presents his own opportunity this season, whether through emerging runners, growing racetrack momentum, strong foundations at stud or outstanding value at the current fee.

“We’re proud to continue working with breeders through competitive fees and a practical approach to the season.”
