Magic Millions opens racing-stock heavy September Digital Sale

More than half the catalogue comprises racehorses and racefillies, with Listed winner Eurocanto among almost three-quarters of the racing stock offered without reserve.

Bidding has opened for the September 11–16 Magic Millions Digital Sale, with racehorses and racefillies accounting for more than half the catalogue.

Almost three-quarters of that racing stock is offered unreserved, while the catalogue also contains 12 racehorse shares and four broodmares. Bidding will begin closing from 12pm AEST on Wednesday, September 16.

The vendors represented across the racing stock include Anthony Freedman Racing, Arrowfield, Ciaron Maher Racing, Lindsay Park, Snowden Racing and Yulong.

Listed Maribyrnong Trial winner Eurocanto is among the headline lots. The three-year-old gelding defeated subsequent Group 1 Blue Diamond Stakes winner Streisand at Flemington last season. Eurocanto has raced six times and is offered unreserved as one of three Lindsay Park entries.

Arrowfield has catalogued winner Heathcliff, who has one win and two placings from five starts, including a second at Scone on September 1.

The Arrowfield offering also includes Fasvara, a four-year-old gelding with a Hong Kong rating of 68. He has won or placed in five of his eight starts. Snitzel gelding Revamped, catalogued won at Newcastle on August 13 and has raced three times.

The racefillies include Written Tycoon mare Written Scandal, a $320,000 yearling purchase who has placed several times in metropolitan company. She finished fourth at Canterbury in August, beaten by less than a length.

Yarraman Park will offer Duchess Pedrille unreserved, with a Cosmic Force filly foal at foot.
