Admiration Express tops Magic Millions Digital Sale at $280,000

Outstanding Perth performer Admiration Express emerged as the headline act of the latest Magic Millions Digital Sale, topping the online auction when she was secured for $280,000 by Boomer Bloodstock in partnership with leading West Australian nursery Greenfields Lodge.

Offered as a breeding prospect by Jason Miller Racing, the multiple Group-winning grey mare attracted strong interest.

Miller, who purchased Admiration Express for just $60,000 at the 2021 Magic Millions Perth Yearling Sale, reflected on her sale with mixed emotions.

“It is a great result,” Miller said. “We are obviously a bit sad because she was a very special horse for us. She is going to a good home and we wish her new owners the very best of luck.”

Magic Millions Head of Digital Bryce Bevan said the result highlighted the platform’s ability to deliver strong outcomes for quality stock.

“After initially passing in, a deal was brought together very quickly post‑auction, which reflects the strength of our relationships on both sides,” Bevan said.

Others sold across the sale including Smitten ($35,000), Fierce ‘n Fabulous ($22,500), Playing Quest ($20,000), Zucchero ($27,500) and Zou Doll ($16,000).
