Bumper line-up assembled for Magic Millions Perth Yearling Sale
Magic Millions has released the catalogue for its 2026 Perth Yearling Sale, with 358 lots to be sold over two days in February.

The leading prospects from Western Australia’s yearling crop will go under the hammer in February after Magic Millions released the catalogue for its 2026 Perth Yearling Sale.
A total of 358 lots will be offered across two days at the Magic Millions Swan Valley sales complex on February 19 and 20, with the catalogue reflecting depth across both proven and emerging stallions.
Champion local sire Playing God heads the line-up, with 52 yearlings set to be offered, part of a broad stallion mix that includes 79 sires in total. Seven first-season sires are represented, among them Group 1 winners Artorius, Paulele, State Of Rest and Stronger, along with locally based newcomers Aysar, Lightsaber and Marine One.
Recent Western Australian racing carnivals have again underlined the sale’s relevance, with stakes winners Watch Me Rock, King of Light, Super Smink, Buckets Ridge, Luana Miss, Rope Them In and Toropa all graduates of the Perth sale.
“Western Australian-bred gallopers have a proud history of succeeding at the elite level,” Magic Millions managing director Barry Bowditch said. “From Perth, across Australia, through Asia and even Royal Ascot, the results speak for themselves.
“Each and every year we present a quality line up of yearlings in the Swan Valley and 2026 will be no different with strong support of the state’s leading thoroughbred breeders.”
The catalogue features numerous yearlings closely related to Group winners, including Bustler, Music Magnate, Portland Sky, Western Empire, A Lot of Good Men, Awesome John, Buster Boom, Comrade Rosa, Ektifaa, Ima Single Man, Super Smink, Swift Witness, Chaillot, Live to Tell, Rocketing By and Siren Assault.
There is also strong representation from stakes-winning mares such as Kay Cee, Bantry Bay, Dainty Tess, Lubiton, Platinum Rocker, Zoushine, All Friared Up, Brave Angel, Caipirinha, Chantorque, First Affair, Impetuous, Lonsdale Lady, Mizlecki, No Looking Back, Premardal, Rebel Assault, Single Spice, Snowchino and Stellar Vista.
The 2026 sale will be preceded by the Magic Millions WA Raceday at Pinjarra Park on Saturday, February 14.
“The day will feature $600,000 in prizemoney and Magic Millions Racing Women’s bonuses run exclusively for sale graduates. It’s a real highlight on the WA racing calendar and the perfect way to set up a massive week in the West,” Bowditch said.
“Inspections will start in the Swan Valley on the Sunday and continue through Wednesday before all eyes will be on the sale ring on Thursday and Friday.”
