Hong Kong prospect Botanist on Magic Millions Digital
The catalogue for the Magic Millions Digital Sale is now live, with racehorses, race fillies and shares accounting for almost half the entries.
Three-year-old colt Botanist (Lot 9) will be offered by Coolmore and partners after winning at Warwick Farm and placing at Kembla Grange from five starts.
The $900,000 yearling is unreserved, eligible for Hong Kong and x-rays will be uploaded to the Magic Millions repository over the weekend.
Crusader Voyage (Lot 1), offered by Chris Waller Racing, has placed six times from 10 starts, including three placings at metropolitan level.
The racehorse category also includes Demon (Lot 2), an unraced three-year-old son of Fastnet Rock who has won two of three Sydney trials, and Viipuri (Lot 40), who has won three of eight starts including at Goulburn on May 7.
City-winning four-year-old mare Meadowbrook (Lot 11) features in fillies and mares category alongside Lot 14, an unnamed and unraced four-year-old mare who is a half-sister to Kiki Express who sold for $1.2 million at last week’s Chairman’s Sale in Sydney.
TFI has catalogued two unreserved 2.5 per cent shares in Loud Charlie (Lots 15 and 16), with the three-year-old gelding having won or placed at his past two starts on the Caulfield Heath track.
Group One Thoroughbreds has also entered a 2.5 per cent share in Tassalina (Lot 17) and a 5 per cent share in Xerxes (Lot 18).
The breeding stock section includes weanlings and yearlings by Bivouac, Spirit Of Boom and Written By, as well as broodmares from vendors including Lyndhurst Stud Farm, Mill Park Stud and Yarraman Park.
Bidding is open and will begin closing from 12pm (AEST) on May 20.
