While the injury would not necessarily prevent her from racing again, it puts to an end her spring campaign and with the breeding season pending, the decision has been made to end her racing days.

“As an important mare of our breeding operation, we have decided that rather than look to race on, we would introduce her into our broodmare band, now, where we expect she will make a significant impact,” a Godolphin statement said.

The daughter of I Am Invincible was a $900,000 buy from the draft of Segenhoe Stud at the 2021 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale.

She was unbeaten in two starts as a two-year-old for James Cummings, including a Listed victory in the Woodlands Stakes at Scone.

In her three-year-old campaign, she won the Group 2 Run To The Rose and was runner-up to Jacquinot in the Group 1 Golden Rose.

She then announced herself as one of the best three-year-old sprinters in the country when she claimed the 2022 Group 1 Coolmore Stud Stakes.

Her autumn three-year-old campaign featured a first-up win in the Group 2 Light Fingers Stakes before a third placing in the Group 1 Surround Stakes.

She then claimed her second Group 1 down the Flemington straight when winning the Newmarket Handicap, with Dean Holland in the saddle.

Her four-year-old season saw her have five starts and while she was not able to add to her winning record, she finished no further back than fourth.

In all, In Secret had 15 starts for six wins, and claimed $5.3 million in prize money.

Godolphin has yet to confirm which stallion In Secret will visit during the spring.
