Buoyed by the racetrack success of recent graduates and growing demand from buyers and vendors, Inglis has expanded its Ready2Race Sale catalogue to a record 321 lots for 2026.

The catalogue for the Inglis Ready2Race Sale was released on Sunday, with the expanded offering reflecting growing confidence in a sale that has established itself as one of Australasia’s most productive sources of racetrack performers.

Among the graduates to emerge from last year’s sale are Tron Bolt, a Group 1 winner at two, Listed Woodlands Stakes winner Queen Regent and Hard Kick, a stakes winner at both two and three from just three career starts.

Other graduates in recent years include Group 1 winners Libertad and Nettoyer as well as million-dollar earners Democracy Manifest, Tavi Time and Strait Acer.

The 2026 catalogue features 321 lots, of which 232 were purchased specifically for the sale through public auction, supplemented by a substantial group of homebred youngsters.

Buyers will have access to progeny by a wide range of established stallions including I Am Invincible, Zoustar, Frankel, Gun Runner, Siyouni, Toronado, Too Darn Hot, Home Affairs, Ole Kirk, Savabeel, Harry Angel, Wootton Bassett, Exceed And Excel, The Autumn Sun, Street Boss, Written Tycoon and Ghaiyyath.

The catalogue also includes first-crop representatives of Anamoe, Artorius, In The Congo and Diatonic.

Among the offering are 111 lots out of black-type performers or black-type producers, including siblings to Group 1 winners Private Life, Communist, Tashi and Captivant.

Inglis Bloodstock chief executive Sebastian Hutch said the sale had developed significant momentum in recent years.

“This sale has real momentum and the catalogue is fantastic,” Hutch said.

“We have been working with vendors for years to build the profile of this sale and the performance of graduates, over the past 12 months in particular, has been hugely encouraging.”

Hutch said the strength of this year’s catalogue reflected the confidence vendors had in the sale.

“The majority of the catalogue has been sourced at auctions across Australasia specifically for this sale and I know that our vendors as a group are very bullish about the quality of horse that is being presented,” he said.

“Buyers were encouraged to participate in this sale last year with a commitment that high-class racehorses would emerge from it and I’m confident that buyers will find even more high-quality stock at the sale this year.”

Breeze-up sessions will be held at Warwick Farm on September 25, Taupo on September 28 and Wangaratta on September 29, with footage to be uploaded to the Inglis website and app within 48 hours of each session.
