Ole Kirk share offered in Inglis Digital October (Late) sale
A share in Vinery Stud’s Ole Kirk is up for auction in the Inglis Digital October (Late) Online Sale.
In September 2025, Hong Kong-based owner and breeder Eric Yeung paid $600,000 for a 1 per cent share, which Inglis said put a $60 million valuation on the stallion. Vinery Stud sold that share for an outside shareholder.
Four months earlier, a one-in-100 share offered through Magic Millions made $460,000. Its holder was entitled to a service each season, plus a portion of the income from overs.
Ole Kirk’s fee has doubled since 2024. He stood for $55,000 in 2024 and went to $99,000 in 2025, the highest fee Vinery had charged since More Than Ready. For 2026 his fee rose to $110,000 and Inglis says he is fully booked this season.
The only other stallion share in the sale is in Better Than Ready.
The 266-lot catalogue also includes Confederation, the Chris Waller-trained Wootton Bassett colt. He cost $650,000 as a yearling and has been Group 3 placed in the Canonbury Stakes and the Vain Stakes from five starts, all at Group level. A 5 per cent share in Welcometotheshow is also on offer. The Showtime entire ran third behind Lady Shenandoah in last Saturday’s Group 1 Toorak Handicap.
There are 139 racehorses in the catalogue. The other lots comprise 72 shares in racehorses, 28 broodmares, 13 two-year-olds, seven yearlings, five horses yet to race and two stallion shares.
