Progeny of proven and promising sires head HTBA Yearling Sale

The Hunter Thoroughbred Breeders Association Yearling Sale, held by auction house Inglis, will provide buyers with a late-season option to secure stock heading into 2025/26 in Sydney on Sunday.

The 216-lot catalogue features yearlings by Anamoe, Artorius, All Too Hard, Alabama Express, Capitalist, Castelvecchio, Jacquinot and Home Affairs, the sire of Golden Slipper-winning colt Guest House, all represented.

Yearlings by Hellbent, So You Think, Trapeze Artist and Zousain are also catalogued in the sale at Riverside Stables.

International buyers, including those from Malaysia, have flown in to attend the sale, while domestic agents and trainers are also on the ground at the Warwick Farm complex.

Pinhookers who have targeted the two-year-old breeze-up sales have found the HTBA sale as a fertile hunting ground, with that segment of the buying bench also expected to play an important part of trade.

The sale starts at 10am (AEST).
