Winning post venue announced for Everest meeting

In a joint venture between The Australian Turf Club, Racing NSW and TAB, a new 1000-person premium hospitality precinct will operate at Randwick for this year’s $20 million Everest.

To be known as the TAB Clubhouse, it will be positioned adjacent to the winning post and offer elevated views along the home straight.

The new venue has been introduced after corporate hospitality for TAB Everest Day sold out across the racecourse.

The precinct will provide an additional premium hospitality option as the ATC prepares for what it says will be the third consecutive sell-out running of the $20 million TAB Everest.

ATC chief executive Steve McMahon said the new facility reflected the club’s plans to expand its offering around the feature race.

“TAB Clubhouse is more than a new venue, it’s a statement about where we’re heading,” McMahon said.

“As the TAB Everest continues to grow, we’ll keep investing in new precincts, new experiences and new ways to bring more people closer to the action at Royal Randwick.”
