The Group 1 Northerly Stakes has attracted entries such as Buckaroo, Cosmic Crusader, Evaporate, God’s Window, King Of Light, Pericles, Watch Me Rock, Western Empire and Zambardo.

The Railway Stakes nominations include Buckaroo, Cosmic Crusader, King Of Light, Lazzura, Pericles, Skyhook, Watch Me Rock and Western Empire.

Overpass heads a strong list of Gold Rush nominations alongside Afireofgidgeecoals, Bassett Hound, Beatty, Cosmic Crusader, Jigsaw, Jokers Grin, Lazzura, Pericles, Rey Magnerio, Warnie, Watch Me Rock and Western Empire.

Entries for the Winterbottom Stakes field include Jigsaw, Rey Magnerio, Bassett Hound, Headwall, Jokers Grin, Overpass and Talkanco.

The younger horses will have their opportunities in the WA Guineas and Placid Ark Stakes, with Beatty and Big Red Zoom nominated for both races, joined by Afireofgidgeecoals and He’s A Machino among the entries for the age-restricted features.

Racing WA says the nominations underline interstate interest in Ascot’s major races, with depth across the six features setting up a competitive contest between established performers and emerging talent throughout The Pinnacles.
