Three openings on Racing SA board

Applications are open for three director vacancies on the board of Racing SA, the principal racing authority governing the thoroughbred industry in South Australia.

Hender Consulting is conducting the recruitment process, with the calling for nominations for two directorships and another to fill a casual vacancy.

The remunerated directorships are for a three-year period. with preferential consideration given to candidates who have experience in legal, accounting, finance and business management. People with knowledge of wagering and betting operations will also be strongly considered.

Rob Rorrison, who is also Racing Australia chair, leads the Racing SA board with Grant Harrison acting as his deputy chair.

Applications for the board positions close at 5pm on August 17.
